2025/26 Club Allocations
The FA has announced the non-league club allocations for the 2025/26 season.
Coventry Sphinx will play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands League (Step Four) for the third consecutive season.
The division will return to 22 teams so there are eight new teams in place of promoted Quorn and Worcester City, relegated/resigned Walsall Wood, Grantham Town, Lye Town and Rugby Town, and two teams – Sporting Khalsa and Darlaston Town – who’ve been moved laterally out of the division.
The new teams in the Midlands Division are:
Basford United and Mickleover (relegated from Step 3)
Bourne Town, Lichfield City, Rugby Borough and St Neots Town (promoted from Step 5)
Belper Town and Carlton Town (moved laterally from the East Division)
We look forward to welcoming everyone to Sphinx Drive next season.
