Coventry Sphinx partners with Future Pro Academy

Coventry Sphinx Football Club is delighted to announce that we have successfully negotiated an agreement to team up with the Future Pro Football Academy who will be based at our Sphinx Drive headquarters. As a progressive club we always strive in looking to enhance our portfolio with all our players taking central stage as part of the decision-making process.

This welcome addition will give a platform for our junior players reaching the age of 16 to not only pursue their football development with us in a safe nurturing environment but also receive additional education to run alongside it. Together with Demir and his team we will be able take our club to the next level as part of our integral future objectives. With our partners SoccerRockz also in place we can now offer a consistent progressive roadmap from the age of 5 up to 18 and then into adult football.

Future Pro Academy are delighted to announce its plans with a new partnership working with Coventry Sphinx FC. The partnership will see the full-time football and education programme move to Coventry Sphinx FC from September 2022 with pre-season starting in August.

This exciting partnership will enhance Future Pro in its 10th year as a professional UEFA Licensed Academy with a proven track record producing professionals. The academy has grown from strength to strength in the past decade providing pathways into elite sport, professional football, full time employment along with working with some of the best sporting institutions including Loughborough Sport & education group delivering higher education opportunities. The academy will continue working with UK Sport academy also proving an excellent further education programme.

During the past 5 years Future Pro have worked hard to achieve a 100% success rate on the full-time education programme. Our staff include experienced tutors and UEFA A / UEFA B licensed coaches with first-hand experience working in a professional football environment with high performing athletes demonstrating industry leading knowledge which enhances the student’s education.

At Future Pro, we put the learner at the centre of everything we do taking a long-term holistic approach creating the best opportunities for our student-athletes. Working with Coventry Sphinx FC will enable us to reach the next level providing a higher-quality experience in the classroom and out on the field with fantastic pathways into the U18 floodlit midweek youth team and senior first team. The venue will allow opportunity to achieve their maximum potential accessing the club’s facilities with increased space for continuous development.

Future Pro will always endeavour to provide the upmost professional service and working with Coventry Sphinx FC will only move the academy in the right direction sharing the same values and principles. Coventry Sphinx empathize the importance of promoting youth players into the first team and we have already seen past academy success with players playing for the established step 5 club which is arguably the biggest non-league club in Coventry.

We are looking forward to the upcoming trial date on Monday 21st February for current year 11 and year 12 students.
