I first met Luke when he was just seven years old.  He made his Sphinx club debut away to the Jaguar under 8’s and scored four goals in thrilling 9 – 3 victory (some things never change).  Over the following seasons Luke developed into a promising footballer able to play well in any position; defence, midfield or attack - on the left, right or through the middle.  More recently Luke has matured rapidly, he is blessed with lightening pace and a strong physique and is able to play off both feet comfortably.  It is no surprise that a football league club have offered him a contract.  Luke thoroughly deserves his chance, he has earned it through hard work, desire and commitment.

Luke has a fantastic attitude towards football, he has a strong character and is a genuinely nice person - you’ll rarely see him without a smile on his face.   I wish Luke well and thank him for his outstanding contribution over the five season’s we spent together.  He has done himself, his family and the Sphinx Football Club proud, well done Luke!
